Dawn Maguire 

Dawn Maguire is the clinical director of NRICBT.  

Dawn received her Master's in Social Work from Rhode Island College School of Social Work and her B.A. in Psychology from Rhode Island College. She is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with a primary treatment focus on Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness.

Dawn completed training locally with the Obsessive Compulsive Disorder clinic at Butler Hospital and advanced clinical training with the International Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Foundation (IOCDF) via the Behavior Therapy Treatment Institute (BTTI).    She has worked with persons struggling with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), Hoarding Disorder (HD), General Anxiety Disorder, Social and Specific Phobias, Panic Disorder, Depression, and various life stressors. She also has worked with family members of persons struggling with HD,

 

Dawn was a founding member of the RI Hoarding Task Force and is currently a PhD Candidate at the University of Rhode Island College of Health Science and an adjunct professor at Rhode Island College Graduate School of Social Work.

 

Dawn is currently offering both in-person and telehealth therapy sessions with NRICBT.

Megan received her Master's Degree in Social Work from Simmons College School of Social Work in 2009 – completing internships at the Lemuel Shattuck Hospital in Jamaica Plain and at Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Student Health Services. She held positions as a Clinical Specialist and then as a Team Leader for an Integrated Health Home Team at Gateway Healthcare, providing outpatient mental health treatment to adults with chronic and persistent mental illness.

Megan is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with a primary treatment focus of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy ( ACT) and Mindfulness . She treats adults living with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) , Social and Specific Phobias, Panic Disorder, Depression and various life stressors.

Currently, Megan is the Program Manager for the OCD & Anxiety Intensive Outpatient Program at Butler Hospital.



Megan is currently offering both in person and telehealth therapy sessions with NRICBT.
